Ninety minutes from lost to lethal.

A small-group class with one of our club pros — how the machines work, how to read a nail map, which units are worth your balls and the etiquette that marks you as someone who knows. Then you play for real.

Learn it properly

The fastest way past the confusing part

Pachinko looks chaotic from the outside — hundreds of balls, flashing lights, no obvious score. The masterclass pulls it apart properly: the nail map that controls everything, the jackpot sequence, why machine age and row position matter, and what separates play that works from play that just burns balls.

Classes run on a dedicated practice row away from the main floor, so you can ask questions and make mistakes without an audience. Your instructor plays beside you for the last half hour, then the included session credit carries you onto the real floor the same night.

  • Ninety minutes with a senior club pro, max eight students
  • Dedicated practice row — no floor pressure while you learn
  • Nail-map reading and machine selection that actually works
  • Practice balls and a A$25 session credit included
  • Take-home quick reference card for the floor

How the class runs

Arrive ten minutes early to check in — we start on time because the schedule is tight. Everything's provided: practice balls, reference cards and your session credit. The class is 18+ like everything else in the venue, and runs in English with Japanese terminology explained as we go.

Free cancellationChange or cancel any booking up to 24 hours out — just call the desk.

I'd walked past pachinko parlours in Tokyo for years, too intimidated to go in. Ninety minutes later I was explaining nail maps to my husband. Worth every cent.

Beginner Masterclass FAQ

The things people ask before booking. Still unsure? Message the desk.

All club questions
Do I need any experience?

None at all — the class is built for people who've never touched a machine. Even the check-in assumes you'll have questions.

What if I can't make my booked class?

Reschedule free up to 24 hours out — the class runs three times a week so there's always another seat.

Can I book the whole class for my group?

Yes — a private class for up to eight is A$320 total. Popular for birthday groups and small team nights.

Is the session credit only valid that night?

It's valid for 30 days — though most people can't resist using it straight after class.
