Where the regulars come to prove it

Thursday Ladder League is the backbone — sixty-four ranked positions, free entry with any session, and promotion/relegation that resets every season. You play timed heats on matched machines; your ball count is your score. Top eight each week earn ladder points.

The Saturday Showdown is the spectacle: a single-elimination bracket on the feature machines with a A$350 weekly prize pool and a crowd that genuinely heckles. Win enough Showdowns and you qualify for the seasonal championship — a full-floor, two-day event with a A$5,000 pool.

  • Free Thursday ladder entry with any session booking
  • A$350 weekly Showdown pool, A$5,000 seasonal championship
  • Seeded brackets — first-timers get rookie protection
  • Official rankings tracked on the club leaderboard
  • Team division for pairs and corporate crews

How it works

1
Register at the desk

First-timers start on the unranked ladder — a host walks you through format and scoring before your heat.

2
Play your heats

Timed sessions on matched machines — everyone plays identical nail maps, so it's skill and nerve, not seat luck.

3
Climb the ladder

Points accumulate across the season. Finish top eight weekly and you're climbing — finish top two and you're headline news on our board.

Competition rules, the short version

All heats run on club-calibrated machines with matched nail settings. Scoring is total ball count at time-out — judges count, screens verify. Disputes go to the head host whose call is final. Full rulebook is posted at the host desk and on our board.

18+ onlyPhoto ID checked at the door — no exceptions.
Walk-ins vs bookingsSessions take walk-ins; everything else is worth booking ahead, especially Thursday to Saturday.
Free cancellationChange or cancel any booking up to 24 hours out — just call the desk.

Came for a casual Tuesday, accidentally qualified for the championship six months later. The ladder is dangerously addictive — you always think next week is yours.

All club questions
I'm a beginner — can I still compete?

Yes — Sunday rookie rounds exist exactly for that. You'll play against other newcomers until the ladder welcomes you properly.

How are tournaments fair if machines vary?

Every bracket uses matched machines calibrated identically by our tech before the event. Players also rotate machines between heats.

What can I actually win?

Weekly Showdowns pay prize credits, trophy balls and venue vouchers. The seasonal championship pays a A$5,000 prize pool across the top eight.

Can teams enter together?

The pairs division runs every Thursday alongside singles. Corporate teams of four can enter the company league — ask the desk.

Ready when you are

The ladder resets soon. Your ranking won't.

Register at the host desk any Thursday — first heat starts at 6:30 sharp.
